Logic is the limit of the human mind.
Think about it. Every time that we say that sth cannot happen the word logically is implied in the end. For example "I can't fly!" ... logically.
However the limits that out logic sets is broadened by people who chose to surpass logic. Because logic says that if somebody did it once, it can happen again. And from the moment that somebody achieves something and can explain how he did it that something becomes logicall.
Faith is what helps us surpass the logical barrier. And I don't mean only the religious faith. For some people that may work because in their mind they need that some greater force backing up their actions. But for others that may not be necessary.
For example you say "my visualization helps me accomplish anything" ... and that's your faith.
I also believe that the best God is our mind as long as we think it's a strong God.
So in conclusion I don't think there are any limits to our mind except the ones that our logic sets before us.

I personally do not feel that I have a limit to my mind. I feel that there are areas that I will unlock in time.
The 'hidden nine-tenths' of your mental strength lies buried... discover, release and use it to gain new success, personal happiness—a fuller, richer life.
From an evolutionary perspective, it is unlikely that a brain that is 90% useless would develop. The brain is an expensive organ to maintain and utilizes a large supply of the body's energy resources. Certainly there are redundant pathways that serve similar functions. This redundancy may be a type of "safety mechanism" should one pathway for a specific function fail. Still, functional brain imaging studies show that all parts of the brain function. Even during sleep, the brain is active. The brain is still being "used"; it is just in a different active state.
From a developmental perspective, the 10% of the brain statement also fails. The adage "use it or lose it" seems to apply to the developing nervous system. During development, many new synapses in the brain are formed. After birth, many synapses are eliminated later on in development. This period of synaptic development and elimination goes on to "fine tune" the wiring of the nervous system. It appears that correct input is required to maintain a synapse. If input to a particular neural system is eliminated, then neurons in this system may not function properly. Nobel prize winners David H. Hubel and Torsten N. Wiesel demonstrated this in the visual system. They showed that complete loss of vision would occur when visual information was eliminated during early development. It seems reasonable to suggest that if 90% of the brain was not used, then many neural pathways would likely degenerate.
Brains are quite adaptable and do have the ability to recover after damage. When a brain is damaged, remaining neural tissue can sometimes take over and compensate for the loss. The ability of the brain to recover lost functions does not indicate that the damaged tissue had no function. Rather, this ability illustrates the brain's capacity to reorganize and rewire itself.
SORRY THE BOOK...

The only limits are insecurities and doubt. If you believe in the power of your mind, there is no limit to what you can accomplish.
That's a wonderful ability you have! It shows you are not only intelligent, but open-minded. :)

Yes, at times. That's when you control your mind. The mind stimulates everything you see and do. It's intrinsic, you're born with it. The more you use the brain, the more you tame it. Every time you tame your mind, your mind learns from it. That's why I believe every question you ask isn't stupid because the mind becomes stronger each day. The strongest thing you can ever have is your brain. No one can stimulate it other than you. You control it.

I know what this state is. I too am living in a similar state. The answer to your question is NO. A mind doesn't have any limits. It's only your abiity to break the ranks of limits set by humans.
Good luck.

you are a kind of visionary person (don't know which kind). but yes there are limits to the mind. example i can comphehend basic math up to geometry but after that no matter how much i memorized of the new math subject i can not retain that knowledge and it disappears or erased from my memory bank. my mind can not be used to help me get an carpentry job due to me not being capatible of holding that sort of information long. every1 mind works different due to astrology that's why i now know most of what i can and can not do (1 day i will know fully what makes me me).

Sounds like you should try to join that new reality show - "Who Wants To Be The Next Superhero"? Just joking, yes, I believe you can activate more areas of your mind like this: picture a bunch of pathways for thought with electricity flowing through them.
After a while, the pathways next to them become "active" due to the magnetic fields created when electrical thought impulses flow!

The only known limit to your mind is your belief about what your ability is. This is a question that we can only answer ourselves.

However there is not, nor has there ever been, nor will there ever be manipulation of the physical world by the human conscious.
