I had a friend get arrested for residue.

It really depends where you live. I think the federal standard is anything under one ounce is a misdemeanor and over is a felony. Some police departments are a little more lenient and some are by the book, or worse. So, keep it under an ounce and don't have a bunch of baggies around. If you have baggies, you can be charged with trafficking as well as possession.

That depends on where you're holding... different jurisdictions have different rules. For instance, the city of Denver has made it legal to possess a very small amount for personal use, but anywhere else in the state of Colorado, they will put your butt in Canon City for the same amount. So check out the law in your area before you spark a blunt!

Depends where you live. In England, police usually just take your weed and let you go unless they think your dealing. But in Conservative Hell-Holes like Utah or Texas any amount will get you arrested and probaly sent to jail.

depends on the state or province you live in (assuming your in North America)
each state/province has its own regulations. these work in conjunction with federal law that says Weed is illegal lol
any amount, even one that is not enough to go to jail will still get you a fine. unpaid fines as they add up, will get you jail any way lol

I don't know where you live, but I got caught with a bowl and went to jail. It was a misdemeanor, but still.

I wouldn't recommend have any when you go to a jail. If you get caught with it they will arrest you.
