It's a female thing. I was in honors math myself but just got bored with it.
Men are generally better in math and other analytical things, women are generally better in languages and arts.
Larry Summers really got the NOW shrews on his case when he suggested that innate differences in genders were responsible for more men in fields having to do with math and the like. The NOW-types have this "genders are interchangeable" gospel going on, and anyone who says any different is a heretic.
Granted some women can think analytically...but for the most part it's men who do better in that area. And it's nothing to be ashamed of, and it doesn't mean women are inferior!

I agree that some women suck at math, but not all. However, there are enough women that suck at math that they actually changed the entire format of the SAT's in order to compensate for them.
They changed the SAT test to involve fewer and less difficult math questions because so many teenage women were failing that section. Now the SAT's have more reading comprehension and analytical thinking questions.
Way to go girls!

That's not true. The bell curve for all males in math-related fields might be a little higher than for females, but that's not an indicator of how well a given person will do compared to another.
There does however seem to be a cultural bias as regards gender and certain areas of study / occupations. So if one group receives more encouragement, support, etc. they may have a higher success rate but that does not indicate greater inate aptitude.

It seems that you just came across last year's news about Harvard President Lawrence H. Summers' remarks on the "that innate differences between men and women might be one reason fewer women succeed in science and math careers."
It is inappropriate to say that women suck at math. I strongly believe that both the male and female sexes have equal capabilities when it comes to mathematics, and science too.
It's those people with narrow-minded thinking who usually believes that men are better than women and vice-versa.

Why do men suck at English? While I personally do not suck at math, I suppose I can use a calculator for most equations. Unless you have a grammar coach following you around to prevent you from sounding like a fool, a man is screwed.

Well, its actual that majority of rocket scientists at NASA are guys and many of the engineers also are guys, however females would possibly capture up in the future until and till they desire the easygoing existence without a complicated equations to manage considering the fact that math has no handy approach out with all the ones ridiculously lengthy equations and formulation.

Well this is part of the reason there isn't as many women scientists. Spacial skills can be developed more through certian more male dominated activities, like video games, and competative sports, and these skills help with analytical thinking. Maybe its just another difference in our anatomy, who knows.

There is nothing which is based on math. Women sense this and therefore they keep away from it. math is illogical. 1+1=2 This is the most illogical thing. There are no two identical items in the universe. How can we add two nonidentical thing to one another... APPLE + APPLE = 2 APPLES This is idiotlogic. When we want to share these two apples between two children, neither will want the smaller one..... Women who keeps away from math are extremely intelligent creatures....

Because it's associated with males (not that its a bad thing) but think about it- it's like the color blue. Ever since preschool those suckers cheated us out of the best color. Who wants a pink cup for juice??? Really, who???
...Not that I have any rage, or anything :)
Become a mathematician. Make us all proud. Wish I could... I surrendered to algebra weakness a long time ago.

Women do not suck at math, very sexist statement. My sister is a computer engineer, she did very well in math! Everyone has there own skills.
