There's a couple of people I know who really love to dominate the conversation. They love having all the air time to themselves to rant on and don't seem to think anything of talking over me if they've got something on there mind. I get the feeling (might be my paranioa) that they actually relish talking over me and wait for me to come round to saying something so they can start there rant over mine.

Do you know people like this? Am I the only one who feels like this? If I'm right, what is the psychology that underpins this?

okay, here's the deal. I am living with my mother 45 miles east of Los Angeles. I made some stupid business and financial decisions last year, so she is helping me out. I have about $1,000 dollars to my name.

anyways, I have been looking for work around here to no avail. I finally got offered a full time position with benefits for 30 thousand dollars in Los Angeles. I've been looking at apartments, but they would take up my entire savings and I won't get paid form this job for three weeks. So iI am thinking of commuting, getting a paycheck or two under my belt and then moving out. What do you think?

I've read that the clinically depressed have the most balanced view on life. Could this be true? Maybe happiness is something that's truly unattainable, and is only an delusional state of being.

if someone (either family, friend, or co-worker) consistently takes criticism badly, denies responsibility, and places blame upon others, what's a reasonable way to cope without rocking the boat? or are rough waters permitted?

I have told my friend that he needs to stop doing this and I am not going to have sex with him. I have not seen him in a long time and he wants to see me. I am kind of wondering if I should just keep it at a talking level from now on or just not talk to him at all.
He constantly asks me if I am a virgin, and I tell him yes each time because I am. I really do not see the purpose of that question. He'll just out of the blue tell me he is jacking off on the phone, he is always asking to have sex with me, and I tell him no, not until I marry, and he always says he is going to marry me. He is also going to Turkey to see his family and wants me to come with him, I told him no, and he got very mad. The only thing I do is tell him he is very handsome, nothing else, so I do not know where in the world he is seeing the oppurtunity to have sex with me. Usually at the day time we would talk about other things, but when it is late, it's just sex, sex, sex, sex. He is very demanding and horny.

It's not that I stutter, but I seem to never have the right answer to anything. Somebody tells me something and I stand there, dumbstruck and don't know what to say other than smile and give a little laugh. I wish I could think of something witty to say right away. What can I do?

I personally think the work "hate" is overused in our society.

Why do stupid "questions" like this usually get the most answers?

I just saw a question where a girl said "your ugly" (she couldn't even spell it right) and she got almost 30 answers...

Oh, and I bet a majority of the people who answer my question are going to say "No, I'm not ugly, you are", because they don't read the details. This website can be sooo predictable....

This is a real question. Do they do nothing but sit in front of the computer 20 hours a day for weeks at a time? How else could you do it? Do they have a life?

Welp, my sister is 3 years younger than me and she is probably a 'c' cup. I am 34 B, but I am also a petite lady. My mother had big chest and she always "Teases" me about them. She looks at me "you are soo small" like I'm sick or something. And to be honest, I really wish I had bigger but they do fit my size very well and they look ok. She always finds a time to say "my bigger sister was the flat-chested one too and I was the one that had breast" and laughs it off. One day I just finally said "well, who's in shape now you or aunt?" Knowing what the asnwer was, she said her sister and she got very frustrated. My mother is fat, just so you'll know. Was I wrong for saying that? I just could not take it anymore, her always talking about my chest, but then turning around and telling me "you have a nice figure" etc. I don't understand. Does it sound like she is doing this to hurt me? I think it's pretty childish if you ask me. She does it everytime.

I think this is the "six sense" as I used to have a lot of them when I was younger, and still have them to this day!

My feelings on this is that you know when your having one, cos everything seems to slow down a fraction, and you know exactly what happens next in a particular moment of a sequence of events...
