Mmm.. I like your question in contrast to the majority here. Well from my life experience finding ones path is the hard bit. Ive found that its the journey, not the destination, that matters. So don't give yourself too much presure to conform to societies view on what is successful life. Thats where stress comes from. The goal of life is to be happy and fulfilled. Unfortunately people judge life success on how much money you make and that misguided. Ive found happyness comes from these things alone:
1.Sercurity - The basic needs (not wants) i.e. Food, Shelter, clothing, health and safety. Could be having religion too for some (Security in what happens after life and why we are here)
2. Human Conection - Having close friends, family and/or partner to share life with.
3. Ongoing Growth - As a "being". This could be learning new skills. Growing emotionally etc.
4. Giving beyond yourself - Helping other people without expecting anything back (for free, unconditional). E.g Giving to charity, creating things people need, helping old ladies across roads etc
5. Having Variety - We need to constantly have variety in life. E.g Meeting new ppl, trying new things, traveling, eating diff foods etc
Thats it. If you can find ways to fullfill those 5 things in a way that you enjoy it will bring happiness and completeness. The biggest mistake ppl make is fullfilling 1,2 or 3 of those things and not feeling complete so they try to do more of the thing/s they already have. This is because they know that the things they are doing makes em happy (dont realise what there missing) so do more of it but the happyness is fleeting and they get in snowball effect. E.g The rich workaholic, nomatter how much money they make it is never enough, they have to make more for a short hit of happyness, on and on. What they dont realise is its not having a CONNECTION with family partner etc that is the reason they arnt satisfied... Anyway if you are sure in what u want then u will find the courage. Remember Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is having fear and facing it.. Tc

Both finding the purpose and courage to live it falls under one category...God. If you have a relationship with Him, He reveals many things and the most important of course is what He wants of your life. Let me tell you that when I found my purpose, it was life changing and the most incredible thing I have done. I was so fulfilled and touched many lives in a positive way. You can choose your own path, however, isn't it better to get the BEST path?

The way to find purpose is to search for it. it takes hard work, and a very healthy desire to live by "healthful words" The Bible Book of Ecclesiastes states at chaper12 vs 13 The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard; is, "Fear the {true} God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man." 14 For the {true} God himself will bring every sort of work into the judgment in relation to every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad. James 4:8 states "Draw close to God; and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you indecisive ones. "Search for God, for he is not far off from any of us.
