People have always been like this since they stopped simply surviving and started living. As a society, we feel the need to make ourselves stand out, and this causes all of the selfish acts that you see. When the human race was fighting for survival, we became a community and helped eachother. You can still see examples of this in areas that have been struck by disaster and in third world countries. Except in New Orleans... Those people acted out of control...

Americans and America are going down the road of making this great country/nation seem like a war bound third world country. I think America is a great place to live, but the hunger, and the war is stoppable. The weather we can't control, but we can be ready for it and have recovery and clean up crews ready to help after a disastrous storm or heat fires.

The bible describes events and conditions that mark this significant period. "The Sign" is a composite one made out of many evidences; thus it's fulfillment requires that all aspects of the sign be clearly in evidence during one generation. The various aspects of the sign are recorded at Matthew chapters 24, 25, Mark 13, and Luke 21; there are further details at 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 2 Peter 3:3, 4, and Revelation 6: 1-8. Outstanding portions of the sign: Nation will rise againest nation and kingdom againest kingdom, There will be food shortages, in one place after another. There will be great earthquakes, In one place after another pestilences." Increased lawlessness accompanied by a cooling off of love on the part of the greater number. {of people}
Men become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth.

It's been war, storms, heat and hunger since forever. Nothing new about it. Sorry but it'll stay like that. The differences all over the world and the desire to rule the world won't change, so war will always be.

my god some of these people are a little on the dramatic side
its nothing more than the natural course of evolution taking care of checks and balances
as population increases and we destroy more and more of the natural resources, evolution of man and the earth is forced to compensate
think of it as the earth being pissed off and trying to fix itself and the wars as global population control
in the history of the world, much more catastrophic thigs have happened

Actually, people are drifting apart. I mean now, everyone is in their own world, not bothering to care for others or even think about what people in africa or in new orleans are going through.

As the black eyed peas said in 'where is the love'....
I feel the weight of the world on my shoulder
As I'm gettin' older, y'all, people gets colder
Most of us only care about money makin'
Selfishness got us followin' our own direction
Its all going downhill!!!!!!!!!!!!!
