Do you think political correctness in western society is simply getting out of hand?

Does government have too much weight on day-to-day ethics, standards...what we say/think?

Do you agree with the concept often described as "thought police"?

I wanted a job that made a lot of money and had to do with babies (i love babies) So I decide to be an Ob/Gyn! Well if I tell people that is what I want to be they call me a slutty lesbian! (slutty from wanting to have 10 kids. have 7 adopt 3 [I told you I love kids]) So do I change my change my (hopefully) future job because people are calling me lesbian? ( I really could care less about the slutty part!) The only reason I really care about the lesbian is because if it gets around then no one will want to date me! I am only 15 but I really had my heart set on this job. NOT to look at womens coochs but to see a child being born! To be 1 of the first people to see a baby!!! PLEASE I NEED HELP

As I understand the bases:
1st is kissing
2nd is feeling up the shirt
3rd is feeling down the pants/skirt
4th is sex
is this correct?

Is there a good way to ask a girl if she wants to go to 2nd? I have only been to first.
If she says yes, any tips or techniques you lovely ladies/guys could suggest?

If you haven't noticed, I am not very experienced with physical love and want to do it right and just make my gf feel good and special.

I am an attractive and self-confident person who is outspoken and social.Whenever I feel a anxious in a social setting, I get very flushed and red and blotchy. Most people will blush a little, but this is so obvious it just makes me more nervous. I am always articulate and my body language is relaxed.....so no one would even know I'm feeling nervous if it wasnt' for the stupid rash all over my face and neck! It's ridiculous. Situations like when I have to give my opinion at a PTA meeting and all eyes are on me, or when I'm with a difficult client, or if I have to tell someone off.....it happens and then suddenly I look like an idiot. I want to avoid those situations altogether, but these are normal life situations that anyone can deal with! Next year I'm VP of the PTA at my kids' school and I wonder how the heck I'm gonna speak my mind without the tell-tale sign giving me away. It first happened when I was suprised at my bridal shower when I was 22. Anyone else have this?

I hear people try to rationalize the african slave trade by saying that the slaves in africa were hunted and captured by european traders. This almost make me laugh tp think that a crew of 12 to 20 european traders could sail halfway around the world to africa and capture several hundred africans at a time in their own land in a time that well predates modern firearms. Truth is the slaves were traded by their own people for other comodities of the time. What do you all think?

I'm wondering even if people want to change, do you think there are some things that are just who you are and cannot be changed? for example, if someone is a dishonest person, can they change? or if someone is naive, or jealous or an angry person?
