What do you think the smell of the air after raining?

I always feel that smell of the air is so good and so fresh..even before it rains..

Rain really brings out the natural smell of the earth. I don't think it actually adds anything but more filters all the ambient smells that pollute the air. After the rain you smell purity.

I agree. It really does smell fresher after a rain. It usually cools the air down too, from the humidity that builds up right before a storm. It is like the air is "electrified" somehow, and makes you just want to be outside in it!

I love the smell of wet dirt it smells so good to me every time it rains I like to go outside and take a deep birth after wards it is a great smell I love it.

The air smells incredible. It smells clean and fresh, of grass, earth and whatever green plants are in the area.

I like it. It's probably because it smells like home because it rains a lot where I live. Smell is the best memory too so it triggers home thoughts I think too.

I LOVE IT! It's so great. I used to live in florida as a kid, and I remember after it would get done storming I'd go outside and splash in the puddles... that was the greatest thing ever. The smell... it was so fresh... and so peaceful.. ahh to be a kid again.

rain is the best weather there is , i feel like i have been watered every time it does rain , rain to me is life ! the smell is clean and brings a great awe and exspectation of new like the whole world or your part of it has just taken a shower , and every thing is brand new.
the sound of rain brings a sense of security , like i have been wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket of peace.
