why are blonds considered most attractive?

Its a world wide known thing that guys are more attracted to blond girls and the same for the opposite sex. its wierd...its just hair color...

There's a little saying that I'm sure everyone's heard. "Blondes have more fun, but brunettes remember it."

It's nothing but a stereotype. I wouldn't say guys are more attracted to blondes because of their hair color. It has to do with what "blondes" do to them. (If you catch my drift.)

Anyway, in my opinion the whole "blonde" thing is just a world wide stereotype.

there are more dark haired guys!!! opposites attract don't you see blond haired people are more attracted to dark haired people. more often then not the member of the opposite sex has a different hair color. we are attracted to the opposite to balance out the out come of a potential child.

It's just hair color if it comes from a box. Blonde people are definately a different breed. We are out going, friendly, fun loving, and although I am one, we are very much the brunt of blonde jokes for a reason. I am always told, " you really are a blonde aren't you?!" WE ARE FUN< AND FUNNY TOO!!!

it may not be the hair colour because i find red Head attractive.. the pale skin with dark hair gives the person a less sick look than say a pale blonde. sometimes hair can balance out the complexion. but society played on the dumb blonde thingy for years. men want a dumb woman because she'll need him to correct her, be smart, ect. and Asians, too. most guys like Asians b/c they think they are docile. why dont most men like blacks and Latinas? because of the no nonsense style. any woman who acts as if she doesnt need a man wont attract one, b/c its intimidating.blondes dont look intimidating..according to society, and not if they are ditzy.

i disagree the blond colour does get more first looks that's probably because of the lighter colour attracts the eye first but once you start to look you find that every person has attractive qualities some are just looks but the most attractive is when the position of the heart is right

It may be true statistically, but I don't think they are more attractive than women with other hair colors (all else being equal). If anything, I think I'm a little more attracted to red hair than the others.

Blondes are the ones guys lie to and tell they are going out with the guys when they are off making it with a redhead, only to marry a brunette later.
