Is there a sort of probability meter in the human syke that scans past experience and finds clues and ideas that become stepping-stones to the understanding.

Are the workings of intuition entirely deductive in reasoning or is it a mixture of feelings, sensations and the latter?

Can card games be used as an example to form an understanding?

Be honest with yourself for once. You know virtually nothing of importance about anything, and most everything you think you know is wrong. You know nothing about the nature of the universe, yet you persist in having opinions about religion and God.

You know nothing about the world, yet you persist in voting, or at least having political opinions.

You go about spouting off your ignorant opinions and beliefs all over the place, despite having no idea what you're talking about.

You're just a monkey with a large brain, and somehow you think this allows you to understand the world. Whereas you using your feeble mind and knowledge to try to understand the world is like an ant trying to understand a computer by walking around on top of it.

Why don't you just admit you know nothing about anything?

I'm talking Type-A or Type-B? Or are you a blend of both?

If you are unaware of what these types are, and don't feel like using the internet to look it up, feel free to respond with an answer that will show everyone else that you're either lazy or obtuse. :P

How can you help an alcoholic that won't help themselves? Many will say that you often times have to hit rock-bottom to have the want to work yourself back up. But, what exactly is rock-bottom. To a 45 year old mother of 2, grandmother of 1, you would think that getting arrested 5 times in the past year, having 3 DUI's in the past 3 months, spending a night in jail, going to 45+ AA classes, having your 17 year old daughter move out, and being physically abused by your alcoholic "boyfriend" THAT would be rock bottom. But, apparantly it is not.... or my mother has completely lost her mind.

In any event. How can you even begin to help an alcoholic that won't help themselves? Or, for that matter, doesn't care to?
