Both, I grew up on a farm. Sun gets the ol' chlorophyll hummin' in the plants, gets'em growing and producing food and oxygen. Fresh air, literally! Freshly made! Tells the roosters its daytime! The barn owls go to bed and stop catching rats and mice. The cats are prowling around, catching rats and mice. I like to lay back in the grass and watch the clouds drift by, hear the windmill squeak and rattle as it pumps water for the critters at the stock tank. Calves like to run and jump in the pasture, while mamma cow just chews her cud.
Now I live in LA. Sun at the beach, waves crashing at the shore, kids playing in the sand. Sun screen slathered everywhere. Marvelous.
The Rain. It recharges the air with negative ions, the ones that are heathy for you. The lightening, it deposits tons of life giving nitrogen into the soil for the growth of plants. The grey clouds heavy with rain come close and don't fade away like the cotton candy clouds of a sunny day. The water refreshes the air and makes beautiful drizzeled patterns on the window panes. Washing sidewalks and roadways. Children love the rain, they want to run, laugh and play in nature's outdoor shower.
We all know the negative sides of too much sun or rain. I just wanted the pleasure of repeating the joys of sun and rain.
It's hard to make a choice, can't do it.

I'd love to watch the rain with my love because it would be a beautiful experience...Better yet, I would LOVE to get soaked with him in the rain ^_~

I love to watch,feel and smell the rain.Sunny days are nice but just something about a nice summer shower.

hmm. i like both. Sunny days are great cause it´s beautiful, you can go outside and just enjoy life.... but rainy days are also beautiful and so relaxing so it´s really hard to pick : P

Sunny day... there's a wider variety of things going on. You can watch birds, animals, people, etc.

i thrive in overcast/rainy days. the harder the better. y? something to do with i love books that start bad and end worse.
