I have noticed this along with a few other (across the country). Is there something going on? Perhaps something with the weather... or an alien invasion XD

I live in northern Massacusetts and we are expecting a big snowstorm. However, the weather forcasters are always wrong. But even the teachers were talking to about it to us! I have my pajamas on inside out, I have 5 wooden spoons under my pillow, and I've already thrown 7 ice cubes out the window! I prayed and did a snow dance. We haven't had a snow day yet. Got any ideas for a good luck ritual?

The Northeast has had virutaully no snow this winter (except for upstate New York, which got pummled with snow). Boston got a dusting, if anything at all....The snowfall seems concentrated in single areas- colorado, and upstate New york- But there is a drought iaccross the pond in the UK as well- Do meteorologists have an answer as to why there has been such an absense of snowfall in most of the country? Is it because of el Nino?
