You say science and faith are different, and that while science has proof and is hence true, faith hasnt, and may or may not be true.

Then isnt science itself based on faith? You say that energy + mass cant be created nor destroyed, and your all theories are based on this. Isnt this just faith?

We're studying relativity in physics right now and I thought that this would be an interesting question. If we could travel fast enough, would we ever get any older?

We made a catapult from wood and springs. we attached the arm toa doorhinge and then attached springs further up. we pulled it back to release it and we need to knwo the physics of it. we are launching something just under a pound heavy and it has to go a distance of fifty meters. so we have delta x = 50m, m = 1 pound (needs to be in kilograms). we need the velocity and the angle we released it at was 45 degrees. is there any more information needed? please let me know if there is. if there isnt, what calculations to i need to make?

I am hooking a rain barrel (50 gal plastic drum) to a soaker hose for the garden. I assume that the water pressure at the end of the hose will decrease proprtionally to the volume in the barrel. Correct, or does the spigot keep the pressure constant?

Assuming that pressure decreases, and that I want it to remain constant, and also assuming that the pressure from a 5 gal bucket is sufficient, would feeding the bucket from the barrel via a direct connection multiply the pressure coming out of the bucket, or would the press. remain the same as the bucket alone?

Would it matter if the connection went from barrel bottom to bucket top or bucket bottom? O-o_ O_o_ (O=barrel, o=bucket, -_= water lines) Barrel will be 3' off the ground, so bucket can be below barrel or even with it.

Both containers will be vented.

If not enough info, ask what you need to know.

the object of the experiment is to design and build a device that uses the potential energy stored in a mouse trap to put out the flame of a standard birthday candle form a distance of one meter.
we can use whatever materials we would like as long as they're "safe" like no knifes or anything. lol
does anyone have any creative ideas on how i could do this? i know water is one idea but its no very creative. anyy ideas would be great!
