How much weight will a 55 gallon drum float?

I need to figure out how much weight a 55 gallon drum (water tight) can keep afloat in water.

Water weight 8.3 lbs per gallon, so theoretically, a 55-gallon drum should float 459 lb. However, you must subtract from that the weight of the drum itself.
