a.) Free Will

ARGUMENT:
Observation determines decoherence from multiverses in Hilbert space, causing "Quantum Leaps" through possible outcomes, allowing individuals to live in "chosen" universe(s) at a given time.

b.) Afterlife

ARGUMENT:
Infinite number of multiverses where an individual does NOT die, causing infinite transcendences through universes of immortality, age reversal, enlightenment, etc.

These are the arguments from proponents of New Age craziness, Buddhist babble, and other such bull crap. I just want to know the counter-arguments (though I am interested in the Free Will predicament considering that even respectable people like Penrose are proponents of it).

what is your view on this:
If time were analogous (ie: then you could slow down time for an eternity without ever reaching a point where time ceases to flow completly)
if so, then this implies (or states) that all motion is "infinitely" fast (or slow, how ever you like it) to cover any distance, no matter how large or small.

And if any motion is infinitely swift
then this implies (or states) that any distance is infinitely great.
so your computer monitor is infinate distance from you, and it will take an eternity to move your first finger to begin a response.
time, like the wind, goes a hurrying by... :)

perhaps to answer my own question, the fact that its 'both' infinitely 'fast and slow' simultaneously renders it to a medium or average which becomes what we call "actuall" etc.
oh well, God is truly beautifull.

being human (seriously),
my perception is limited, so maybe someone could correct or clarify this logic to me.

This might sound silly but I was just reading on howstuffworks.com about how special relativity works and they were saying about how when an electron becomes "excited" A packet of energy, called a photon or quanta, will be released. This of course got me wondering just what is the deal with photons? What are they exactly?

There is a formula, to calculate duct or shaft size and shaft height.You can place the right sized evap. downdraft cooler on top of the right size and height tower and cool air flows down the shaft without a blower. All you add is water to the pads. Anyone know the formula? Thanks!.......Larry

Yes! A solid disk of 10 kg and a radius R=1m, 12.5 cm wide starts rolling down a 10 degree incline when it is 1 m above the base of the incline. Assuming no slippage compute:
(a) Translational velocity when it gets to the bottom of the incline?
