Antimatter has energy, but opposite charge (and opposite of all the additive quantum numbers). Dirac discovered the theory. Anderson actually found the first example (the positron).

The anti-particle of the neutrino is the anti-neutrino. It is actually the electron anti-neutrino that pops out during regular beta decay. It has the same mass, but opposite lepton number from the neutrino. It has opposite electrostatic charge, although the opposite of zero is zero. It also happens to have opposite chirality (mostly), but that's another story. Pauli first hypothesized neutrinos and Reines found them.

If you take a mass structure such as an elementary atomic structure particle such as an electron or even neutron and by collision you remove the core in the volume of the structure ,you would still have the skin of the structure still intact. The skin of the structure would be the drestricted containment of the mass. If the core lets say that of the electron was then forced to reenter the structure ,a collision results in the whole structure breaking appart and the basic component which make up the strucure would expand at the speed of light ,Physics believe that is the energy escape from the mass break up.
Energy is a process mass is what is taking part of that process. Hence mass is an entity described as a quantity where as energy describes how fast a mass moves as a result of that process.
Energy and mass are two different descriptions. It take a process to assemble a mass structure. The mediator of the energy process is the function that forces the process. it is what they call antimatter. its a missnomer it should be called the substance of space which at one time was called the Aether by Democritus of ancient Greek science.,who postulated it as an indivisible substance. The concept was first described in the Biblical account of Creation ,and also by chinesse sages who called it the "Chi"

For to balance of an atomic reaction about 1920"s research days and alpha decay, beta decay and gamma decay there are some missing energy of the system.Matter visa versa anti matter theory came on and ,invisible particle neutrino is stil unknown.
