Suppose one had an object capable of passing frictionlessly through the planet and resists all pressure without collapsing. A ball or something. Since we're taught that gravity pulls all things toward the earth, once the object got to the center of the planet would it just hover there? Possibly it's momentum would fire it through the other side of the planet? What does newtonian physics dictate this object would do?

now,they theorize black holes exist right?that every thing pulled in to them is shrunk to nthing right?that they can be as big as a planet or as small as a pin head,and not even light can go in and come out right?well!!!! just what happens to the atoms, moliculesand other matter?iallways thought that if you sqeezed or spit an atom you got an explosion,like atomic! so why dont we see small or large flashes in space.it would at least prove that they exist,other than in the mind of the "therorist".well i have a few therories of my own, like,time and space sta nd like panes of glass if we can find the right frequincey you will be able to pass from one to another.but alas like the black holes i can not prove this is a truth,but unlike the degreed people,just because i say isay this true it does not make so.thank you for letting this uneducated mind have a say on this or any other matter

The initial pressure in an ideal gas is 1.40 atm when its temperature is 265 K. The temperature is increased to 282 K and the volume is increased to 1.20 times its initial value. Calculate the final pressure.

R = 8.31 J/molK

For example, if a wheel is spinning, is it possible for the direction in which it is spinning to be reversed without ever stopping for a moment?

If so, how?

Is not, why?

If a plane has to dump fuel, from a height of 125m, before landing to avoid a firey crash, How long would it take to for the fuel to fall to the ground?
Im stuck at :
125=0(t) + [(9.8)(t)^2 (1/2)]

I know that I can take out the 0t because it will equal zero not matter what t is. Im having a slight problem with the algebra.

At school, and someone brought up something about that we can't physically touch anything, everything has an electromagnetic field, and it repels other objects, so we aren't touching the ground, we are 1 electron away from touching it, and if there was no field, we would merge with the object we touched. Apparently, it's something about physics.

I wanna read about it, but I don't know what it's called, does anyone know what it is?

My velocity is 4.42m/s, it is falling on earth, so density is 1.2kg/m3.
