Water evaporates from a shallow dish
A student can change:
the depth of water in the dish
the surface area of the dish

When there have been so many great scientists such as Maxwell, Bohr, Ampere, Rutherford not to mention the greatest in my opinion Newton and Edison, why is Einstein given so much prominence.

Doesn't the fact that only half the people ,who say einstein is the greatest scientist ever, actually know the names of his theories and that even smaller number of them know actually what they mean, show the sheepish nature of human beings?

Recently I have been wondering if it's possible for our thoughts to effect events and people in the world? When I think of things they seem to happen! I have thought of a few things and they have happend? However lately some really bad things to the point of Deaths, have been happening when I have became angry with people and thought bad things about them (I never ever wanted anything bad to happen to them, and I cared and liked them very much.) They died in extremly strange and rare ways, which was exactly the same as how I thought? This is something that used to happen to me as a kid. It is really bothering me! Is there any advice, are there any places you can go (Not mental institutions), or have any of you experinced anything like this yourself?I want to know how to control it! I have also been able to do alot of good with my thoughts, like healing people who are very sick, and bringing things back to life! Do you think it's psychic "visions" or am I causing it? What should I do?

While I was washing the dishes the other day, I didn't realize i was stepping on an extension cord while doing it (was barefoot). I experienced a weird tingling sensation at my fingers while washing for a few seconds and it went away as soon as i realized my foot was on the cord and stepped off it. I felt fine afterwards. Is this type of shock a serious one? Also, is it one of those shocks that traveled all the way up my leg and to my fingers? Could it have crossed through my abdomen?

"Except for a 22.0 min rest stop, Emily drives with a constant velocity of 89.5 km/h, north. How long does the trip take if Emily's average velocity is 77.8 km/h, north?"

Well, I'd much rather the question read, "Emily's car is blue. Eat it with ketchup, please. How old is your doorknob?" Of course, the present question makes just about as much sense. I've recently asked another question and feel quite stupid for it, but this one's been confusing me for the past half-hour or so. :( Any chance of help?
