when the fore finger, thumb, mid finger of the left hand are held in right angles to each other, the fore finger shows the direction of the magnetic field, mid finger shows the direction of the current and the thumb is held in the direction of the motion of the conducter.THIS RULE IS ALSO CALLED AS MOTOR RULE.

When a wire carrying an electric current is moved in a magnetic field of a magnet the magnetic field induced by the wire reacts with the magnetic field of the magnet causing the wire to move outwards. Fleming's left hand rule helps you to predict the movement.
First finger - direction of magnetic field (N-S)

SeCond finger - direction of current (positive to negative)

ThuMb - movements of the wire

Grip something [pen] in your hand. Imagine, the direction of the fingers is the direction of the magnetic force; then current flows towards the direction of the thumb. Keep the thumb straight.

You got it now.

Also known as the Motor Rule this is a way of determining the direction of a force on a current carrying conductor in a magnetic field. Please go to the link below for more information. I hope it's of use to you.

Use your thumb, first and second fingers to point at 90° to each other: like the corner of a box.

or First finger: Field
seCond finger: Current
THumb: THrust
thuMb: Motion

If you can't cope with the above, mnemonics are useful! Try: Manchester (thuMb: Motion)
Football (First finger: Field)
Club (seCond finger: Current)

Better u wud find it in any basic science book......

thumb is first finger.
your 2nd finger popints in the direction of the magnetic field
the 3rd finger the dierection of the electic current and the thumb the direction of the force

Why do you want to know this ?

if your thumb, 2nd finger, and 3rd finger of the left hand are placed perpendecular to one another they'll repectively show the directions of force, magnetic field and flow of electricity

hold your thumb, forefinger &middle finger in mutually perpendicular directions.then if Forefinger gives direction of magneticField,Middle finger gives direction of Motion of current, then Thumb gives direction ot Thrust(force)

THIS IS USED FOR IDENTIFYING THE MOTION OF CURRENT ,THE FORCE&THE MAGNETIC FIELD DUE TO THE CURRENT.
"HOLD UR LEFT HAND &HOLD UR THUMB FIRST&2ND FIGURE ALL PERPENDICULARLY SO THAT THE
THUMB GIVES U:FORCE
1ST GIVES U:MFIELD
2ND GIVES U:CURRENT
