Does string theory prove that it is posible to transmute lead into gold?
l know string theory can't be proved and it is only a theory, but it is the best one we've got and if you intuit it its the most probable.

All unstable systems, no matter how unstable they are, REQUIRE an external disturbance to release their energy.

A Brick on top of a tall building can be said to be unstable, but the brick will NOT fall untill something has pushed the brick off the building.

Same thing for radioactive atoms. They do have an odd combination of nucleus, but WHAT is disturbing the nucleus at the time it is releasing it's radioactivity ?

Is there some sort of quantum fluctuation in the universe that upsets unstable atoms into releasing their radiactivity ?

Can I get some help with the work process for this problem?

Any help on the process and formulas used for this problem?

A woman on a 90 ft tall bridge sees a raft below moving at a constant speed. She drops a stone trying to hit the raft when it's 6 m away. The stone hits the water 2 ft in front of the raft. How fast was the raft going?

Whats the difference between Modern Physics and College Physics.. or Applied Physics?

Is Atomic and Nuclear Physics based on Atoms and Nuclear related topics? Or it is completely different?

Same goes for Classical Physics, Space Physics and Astrophysics, etc...?????

For years this has been debated between some scientists, skeptics, and other scientists. Ok, so call me stupid, But you must have a logical reason for how invisibility can be possible.

The rules:
NO breaking the laws of physics, the answers have to be realistic please.
NO inventing a machine to break the laws of physics. If you can't break the laws of physics, then no machine can.
NO superpowers. Name one REAL and PROVEN instance of REAL superpowers. Can't find any, eh?
MAKE SURE to be as creative as you want, as long as your theory doesn't conflict with the rules.
NO falling into radioactive waste and suddenly being invisible, I count this as superpowers. All radioactive materials will do to you anyway is give you cancer.
EXTRA points if you can explain your theories of what it would be like being invisible, as long as your theories do not conflict with the laws of physics and any of the rules.

Other than that, have fun! I'm excited to see the answers!

I believe that there is no "Time", everything just is, and as it ages, it corrodes or withers or dies. But the actual "Time" does not exist! Without watches and calendars, what is time, isn't it just things in existence aging?

A lot material on the internet say that the universe was created by bigbang and it started of with a single point and it blew up to the current state.......

I am no scientist, but just to imagine that this massive-massive universe was so much compressed at time=0 is unbelieveable to say the least.......Are there any proofs to really tell us that this whole stuff was just the size of single point?

Expanding universe could also have been from a initial mass say the size of a "galaxy" atleast.

inter galactic space was told to be occupied by "ether" later i read somewhere that this has been disproven.

my question is "vacuum" = "nothing" (the intergalactic voids)

if this is true then "gravitational force" has to be caused by "some kind of particles rather than waves right"?
