Whats the difference between Modern Physics and College Physics.. or Applied Physics?

Is Atomic and Nuclear Physics based on Atoms and Nuclear related topics? Or it is completely different?

Same goes for Classical Physics, Space Physics and Astrophysics, etc...?????

Modern physics is low energy stuff like quantum mechanics, or high energy/density stuff like the stuff that goes on at CERN.

College physics, really depends on what you're learning. If you're a physics major in college, you learn literally everything. If you're a pre-med, then you learn the basic newtonian stuff, a bit of E/M, and just enough of modern physics to sound fancy during a conversation.

Atomic physics is generally based on atoms yes, nuclear physics used to be, but after the cold war it's been more focusing on the high energy aspect of atomic physics (fission, fusion, nuclear structure).

Classical physics entails: Newtonian dynamics, and classical dynamics (which by the way is damn, damn hard)

Astrophysics is a mix of various physics, but mostly plasma physics (which comes from high energy/density stuff).

evaluating the sciences and the arts is ridiculous. they are too diverse to make any strict correlations. As for "undemanding," whilst that's completely subjective, i could disagree vehemently that the arts are "rather undemanding" and ineffective whilst in comparison with technology. They each and each require a various style of mindset and form of thinking. interior the arts there is on no account only 1 suitable answer like there is in math, physics, etc. meaning humanities scholars could interact in greater extreme thinking, argumentation, and analyze. Math and different sciences are exceedingly mindless as quickly as you recognize the formulae, regulations, etc. Plug interior the numbers and stale you bypass - no longer something extraordinarily psychological approximately it considering the fact that a working laptop or laptop can do it. Plus, you recognize, third 3 hundred and sixty 5 days honours scholars in humanities can rather write coherent sentences, it extremely is likely something that each and every person technology scholars have not found out yet (if your question is something to decide by utilising). I guess in case you took a background course you does no longer gain this warm.

These sound more like course titles than 'real world' distinctions. If I'm right, the best place to find answers is to ask the professors.
