i understand that making something invisble would require bending light but i believe that this would more then likely require a huge amount of energy and i don,t know if nuclear power would be enough to do it

it sounds far fetched but just think of the benifits to man for example people who live in tornando alley as it could be used to protect them from the storms

Fermi-Dirac distribution function is a continuous distribution function. So how it can predict discrete quantum states in the band structure of a material. As far as a semiconductor or insulator is concerned as per Pouli's exclusion principle there is a band gap where there is no allowed energy state for electrones, but the distribution function predicts probability>0 at that regeon also. Why?

Can you name all the quarks do you think there is the possibility that we will continue to find smaller and smaller SubAtomic matter, or is matter all the same goo with the exception that we give a name to the matter that we can measure? If you say something about ether (M&M) it will add to your chances of getting a BA, add somthing about its relationship to light, can it form atomic level matter, what happens to it when it enters black holes, can it pass between atoms like a grain of sand can pass between the earth and sun if it has a high enough velocity (can subatomics pass through a "solid mass" as if it was not there?) , if all mass attracts other masses do atomic level masses attract subatomic masses are they attracted to each other?, ok thats enought to start with, the focus should be on the title question.

Okay...tell me what you think. I have a little brown transformer that plugs in the wall in my house for an alarm. This trans gets really hot to touch. I have keys hanging above it, not directly above it...a little to the right and they DO NOT touch the tansformer at all. I got up yesterday morning...they keys were hanging untouched all night...and when I went to put my car key in the ignition, it was bent (looped), alot!! Almost in an L shape. Could the hot transformer bend my key???? I mean it is a thick long key (car key). Not touching anything hot. Is that possible??? Tell me what you think? Was it the hot transformer or do you think something else, but what? Please solve my mystery!

As I recall the benefits were that tubes could be made smaller than pn junctions and the power requirement was much lower. The problem was that the anode being only a few atoms in size was quickly destroyed by the collision of electrons. Anybody have an update?
