When you have an upside-down cup with a lemon and 3 matches lit under it, plus water covering the opening of the cup on the bottom, the water gets sucked up into the cup. Why does this happen? I need a very thorough explanation.

Quick note, I DID NOT procrastinate, I just got it like... I think Wednesday, me and my parents have been discussing what to do my project on. I would like to do something out of the ordinary, nothing like "do this to this and record what happens," or something. I was thinking of seeing how dogs react to certain types of music, but what if my dog does nothing? That would be fun for just a casual experiment but I have to take into consideration that this will be going into a school project. I am interested in almost any type of science. Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated! The one that gets me an A+ gets the best answer :P Just kidding.

Face it. we live in a right hander's world. Everything is geared for them. We have to overcome obstacles EVERY SINGLE DAY and most of us leftys don't even realize it. Did you know that left handers have much better spatial reasoning skills? Did you know that they excel at math, art, chess, and pool? And did you know that leftys are quite valuable in boxing and baseball. I think our situation is a handicap and we are very good at overcoming it. It sharpens our skills in a number of areas. We use a more mysterious and creative side of the brain than right handers. I am talking about true leftys here. The ones that do almost everything with their left hand IF they are allowed to- writing, throwing, etc. Right handers simply outnumber us and don't take us into consideration when they are designing things. We do a great job beating them at their own game though.
