for now, it is the hibrid vehicle that the scientist at penn states are working on to change the world from using the fossil gaz to hidrogyne to make the cars works. i think that will be a good one, it has been inveted already but i it is not done yet, and will not going to be count as a new invention until it goes out which can probably take the next 6-10 years.

next, i think that we will invent a car that can take chages and save for a long time in use and a vehicle with self-control. so it can bring a kid to school then come back to bring the parents to work. just like a robot machin and this would control through a wireless network.

A lot of break through technologies are comming about now-a-days. But we have not seen the mass implimentation of them. The main reason is because of cost. it cost more to make and produce and ful hydrogen powered technologies than fossil feuls. It cost more bulid and start up a neuclear power plant, than to use the old coad burning ones.

It is just that a lot of things cost so much, and are thus not economicly viable.

I belive that the biggest thing that is being held back by cost that is going to be a "gate way technology" is going to be fussion power plants.
They are possible, and the majority of the engineering problems involving their production have already been solved. It is just the cost of building them. Because they can not be build small scale, and it cost billions to build them large scale.

But in the end they would provide all but free power for all.
That means an infinite ammount of power to create an infinite ammount of hydrogen fuel, run lasers to power objects in space (and to create a new form of grownd based launching vehicle).
Also freezing heleium so that super conductors can be more prevelent.

it is the technology that is nessisary for the next generation of all technologies.
