what would be a good science experiment for someone who luvs sports (mostly field hockey)???

other topics are good too, as long as i can do some kind of experiment with them.

Who an hit the ball further - tall people or short people?
Does how far you hit the ball depend on your weight?
When you start training for a sport, take your pulse after running 1 mile on the first day of the season, and after running 1 mile the last week of the season.
Does a ball go further if it is a cold day or a warm day?
Does a ball go further if you use a long stick or a shorter stick. Does the weight of the stick make any difference.
Are wood sticks better than fiberglass sticks?
Do teams in your league score more goals in the first games of the season or in the last games of the season?
What percentage of kids in your school are left handed? What percent of athletes in your school are left handed?
Does playing athletics improve or harm your grades.
Who gets more strains and muscle pulls - offense or defense players?
What are the most common injuries?

You could have three peaople and one can sleep for 12 hours a night, the other one 8 and the other one 4. Have a field hockey game the next morning and see how well they do. Your question could be, Does the amount of sleep you have effect your overall athletic performance? And remember, your control variable has to be how athletic each person is. You would ruin the experiment if you had one excellent player and two bad players.
