Global warming is a real threat, but it does not threaten mankind with extinction. It may kill some people in poor countries who will starve to death because it disrupts agriculture. It may cause rich countries to lose a lot of money because extensive areas along their coasts will be flooded. That's very bad and we should try to avoid it. To do that we need to start now.
But it can do all that if the temperature goes up just a few degrees C. It would have to go up more than 20 degrees C to start to threaten man with extinction. Right now that looks unlikely, because the disruption to society would cause us to stop making so much CO2 long before that happened.

Global warming a slow process. Even human beings will survive. It will not be comfortable but many will survive and evolve to a form which can live at 150degrees.

There are alot that are questionable, but there is no question about the cockroach.
Even a nuclear holocaust wouldn't kill the cockroach as a single cockroach can withstand 100 times the amount of radiation that can kill a human and can even live off of dirt if necessary.

Yes algae, bacteria and life it self are extremely resourceful. Life can exist in the most extreme circumstances. From hundreds of species living by lava vents in the bottom of the ocean that receives absolutely no sun lite to worms that live in the middle of icebergs at incredible pressures and cold.

Plenty of animals survived the last mass extinctions (dinosaurs, ice age). I don't think it would make much of a difference.

Darwin's theory :Natural Selection
ill give u the overview:
every species has a number of mutations, yes there rare but they happen
if we die, the mutated organism will mate and start up a new species.
This is how we evolved!
