I_HATE_MOSQUITOS and wish they'd all die. But what would the overall impact be? Is there some sort of butterfly effect that will happen?

Are mosquitos vital to civilization? (For example, flies eat poop, ok, they're good for decomposing things...but what use is a mosquito?)

Oh, did I mention that I HATE mosquitos.
