An ouija board is any flat surface - sometimes an actual board such as a piece of wood or sometimes it can be a table or something like that.

On the board are arranged the letters of the alphabet (sometimes also the numbers 0-9) and the words YES and NO. If you are using a table these can be witten on pieces of paper or card.

An upturned glass is placed on the centre on the board and every participant places the index finger of their right hand on top of the upturned glass. The spirits are then summoned and may be asked questions to which they will reply by moving the glass to either YES or NO or by spelling out the answer by moving to each letter in turn.

It is a good idea to have at least one person in the room who is an observer. They can note down the questions and answers and are also able to intervene if something starts to go horribly wrong.

Two stories about Ouija Boards:-
1. At university I took part in an Ouija Board seance on a dark stormy 31st October night... Halloween!!
We sat in a darkened kitchen and after some initial giggling, started to take things seriously. The guy in charge said in a loud clear voice "Is there anyone up there with a message for anyone down here?"
No reponse
He repeated the question: "Is there anyone up there with a message for anyone down here?"
And and small voice from the room above called down "'Allo... are you 'aving a seance?"
At which we all fell about laughing and went to the bar.

2. When I was a young boy living in London, not far from where I lived two boys of about 13 were found dead in a locked room sat around an Ouija Board. The expressions on their faces was one of total horror and they had both died of heart attacks.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Have you seen "Jumanji"?
The ojo board pretty much the same with the one is used in that film.
The Ojo board is a board that has all alphabeth (A-Z) and numbers (0-9) written on it.

But be careful if you want to play with it. It could cause some trouble. Some of the spirit sometimes doesn't want to go away. They just keep following you.

A friend of mine has tried this kind of game before, but he didnt use the board; he used a puppet holding a pencil instead (in my country we call it Jelangkung) to write all the questions asked. The spirit did come, and through the puppet she write all the questions asked e.g. how did he die, where did she live, etc. But weeks afterwards, my friend realize that he could occasionally see what others couldnt... (he never had experience to see ghost before). And he reckons it's not cool at all... It's spooky!!!

It is called Ouija Board. Users (or more appropriately, players) place their hands on some kinds of pointer, and alledgedly move it " under the guidance of spirits" to point ot letters printed on the board, so that an answer is spelled.

Of course, this is all totally bogus.

The link I give you will tell you more about it.

Ouija board pronounced Oh ee Jee. It can be a harmless toy or it can connect you with spirits. It depends if you have mediumnistic ability or if spooks are really active. There are several good books that will assist. Have fun.
