Singapore is situated near the "Equator", thus it is of very suitable and having nearly all year round sun light. The problem with it is that "COST", very,very expensive for the solar cells and the space constrain in our building. Hence, totally not economical to have this equipment because you spent much more than our electricity.

No, it's illegal to use solar energy in Singapore. I could explain it better using maths, but unfortunately I'm limited to sentence form.

I sincerely hope Mesperanto has been joking.....
With only 80miles or so away from the equator, I would think S'pore is ideally suited for harnessing solar energy!
But then again, where do they have the sapce, with all those highrise buildings?
