parallelogram PQRS (Vector question)?

I am having a little difficulty with this problem. I know it is simple but i just can't get it.

In parallelogram PQRS let

q = vector PQ and s = vector PS

Let U be the midpoint of SR. Extend side SR to a point T such that the length of ST is 2 times the length of SR. I would like to write the following in terms of the vectors q and s.

the ones i have difficulty with are

vector SR
vector SU
vector QU
vector ST

i have also difficulty with

vector PT and
vector TP

How do you tell that the function f(x)=1/(x-1) is neither - that is aside from graphing it is?

How do you tell that the function f(x)=1/(x-1) is neither - that is aside from graphing it.

By definition if f(-x) = f(x) then it is even
and if f(-x) is -f(x) then it is odd.

In this case a negative x will always generate a negative answer - therefore it should be odd... but the graph says otherwise.. Please explain without using a graph.

how do you factor (a+b)^2-a-b?

(a+b)^2-a-b. I can't figure out how to factor it. The answer is supposed to be (a+b)(a+b-1). I'm really sure that it's really simple and I'mjust missing the answer by making it too complicated.

ok i know how to do this, but if your changing the fractions into whole numbers by the LCD, for this one how would you do it because it has parentheses?

3/4(4/5x-2)=11/4
