20 17 16 17 15 19 17 16 14 18
15 15 21 25 19 18 17 16 25 17
17 24 24 22 21 25 22 17 16 20
20 16 26 15 19 23 20 26

Suppose you have a checkers board with tan and grey squares, each square measuring 5 cm by 5 cm.

What's the radius of the largest circle that can be drawn on the board such that the entire circumference of the circle is only touching grey? Please round to the nearest hundredth of a centimeter

If you think you've got it, be sure you can show how!

I know that zero works great to establish place value. However, if you owe me a dollar you can never pay it back with zeros! The way zero is used is fine; but I think it should be classed with operations and not classed as a number. What is your answer?

If you start something can it every truly be finished this is my theroy i came up with when my mother said to me at least finish 3 of your chores.
This is how it works lets say you have 5 things and you finish 2 this must mean you have 3 things left to do, but since you finished your 2nd and now are on your thrid how can you have 3 things to do.
You finished your 2nd now you have 3 things to do but since you finsihed it doesnt this mean that you are now on your 3rd one. If you are on your 3rd one how can you have three more things to do.
You can never finish something you can only stop and add something new. With out starting the 3rd thing the 2nd thing would never end or would it? How could it end if you have you are always left with more to do. Explain to me please anyone what is wrong with this or help me explain it easier i am so ******* confused. sighs

We know that bookies take bets from gamblers, but how do they "know" the correct odds for an event to happen? If they don't lay the correct odds, then they would lose. What are some of the math theories involved in determining the odds of winning / losing. Lastly, how is risk tolerance (or spread) determined by the bookie?

The question is he had the baby with him and had to drop her off to complete this. How long does it take a man to change his clothes and drop off a baby 20mins away and come back 20mins to Target in between the time frame of 8:50-9:28 How fast had he have to drive on the highway the speed limit is 60mph. Was he also speeding? If you can show me the math and explain it the 10pts are yours to have.

for example, 5 squared is 25 and 7 squared is 49. and 49 - 25 = 24. 11 squared is 121. 121 - 25 = 96, and 96 is divisible by 24., (96 / 4 = 24). also 121 - 49 = 72, and 72 is also divisible by 24., (72 / 3 = 24).

you can do this with any two primes except for 2 and 3. so my question is,,,,, why???

the first person who gives me a satisfactory answer, i will vote as the best answer.

if no one gets it, then i'll post up my explanation after the voting stops.
