Write down any 3 digit number. It can be any number as long as the first and last digit differ by more than one. Now reverse the digits and take the smaller number away fron the larger one.

With your answer, now reverse these digits and add these two numbers together.

Please display your answer and compare it to other answers!

Wouldn't it be so simple to keep your negative comments as well as the derogatory language to yourself? It’s very easy to ignore a question rather than respond (with an incorrect answer). If someone is getting help with their homework so what? Sometimes people need help. If we harnessed the energy we waste writing negative comments or ignoring someone in need and then used it positively, this world would be a better place.

(-6)=(-6)
-10+4= -15+9
add both the side 25/4
-10+4+25/4= -15+9+25/4
(2-5/2)*(2-5/2)=(3-5/2)*(3-5/2)
take positive root on both side
2-5/2=3-5/2
therefore
2=3

There are two privately-run weather stations which specialise in forecasting whether it will rain on a given day. Weather station A is extremely accurate in its prediction as its prediction is accurate 60% of the time. The other station is not as accurate and its prediction is accurate only 30% of the time. So weather station A is 40% inaccurate at time and weather station B is 70% inaccurate at time. So does that mean station B is 70% accurate at time and station A is 40% accurate at time, taking that it will only predict if it rain and not rain. So which is the most accurate weather station that you will call if both station only predict it rains or not?

Pick two numbers at random between 1 and 10 and call them a1 and a2. From the two numbers that you have randomly picked, form a series a1, a2, a3, a4, a5, … such that the next number is the sum of the previous two numbers i.e. a3= a1+ a2, a4= a2+ a3, etc. Finally, a10/a11 is 0.618 no matter what number you chose. Why is this so?
