I'm trying to understand the best option for lowering our electric bill. Replacing 480V HID lights with Fluorescent T5 480V or T8 277V.
242W @ 480V = .50A
227W @ 277V = .82A

I understand Ohm's law, but not sure how the meter measures our usage.

So I'm trying to study for finals and I am stuck on a concept. Does anyone know how to relate a Transient Response of a first order system to the bandwidth of the filter?

Does the transient response fall faster for a higher bandwidth or something?

thanks

Do architects scientists etc. of Britain and the US actually use the imperial system? Thats hard to believe. How did people do science and developing before the metric system was invented? I cant imagine that because the imperial system which is still used in the States and Britain is so stupid.
