I read in a book that the nozzle reduces pressure of fluid and increases the velocity of that fluid. My questions are, "How nozzle reduces pressure?" and "Why reduces pressure?"

i m doing some calculation program with fixed point in c++ so its involving bit shift.

(1) a = b + c >> 1

(2) a = b + (c>>1)

i think bit shift in (1) is different with (2), is it true? and could this different effect the calculation result much?

we own a hotel and have decided to fix lcd televisions in the rooms.but we have heard of cases from other hotels that some customers cut off the wires and steal the lcd tv.as they are sleek they can be packed in their suitcases.can we design an electrical circuit which will warn us when the power cord is cut off.all the tvs will have their power from the control room.any ideas please?

my science expirements is about fuses.
well my dad got me into doing one with schemetics wirirng fuses.
n know i need to know wat does this mean
1-1/2A,1-3A,1-1A,1-1/3A
all of these numbers come on the different fuses i used
but i dont have an idea wat it means.
also wat will happen if used them with a 12vdc power supply.
will cause i short or wat.
please help

i have a project for engineering, i can only use making tape and newspaper to make a chair.
and for the legs i have to use rolled newspaper but i cant get it to roll tightly

its really hard to roll newspaper.

does anyone have tips in rolling newspaper tightly
and to have the smallest possible hollow center?
