I have a A.C Genset which consumes 260CFH. How do I ask the Natural Gas Company my requirement. What will they tell me. Also, I would like to know what the BTU this equates too.

Get a plumber to deal with the Gas company. He'll need to look at your generator set. 260 cfh is not much. Rule of thumb for natural gas is 1000 BTU's per cubic foot of gas. 260 x 1000 = BTU/hr

Surely if your genset consumes 260CFH you need to tell the NGC that your genset consumes 260CFH ( cubic feet per hour).

Actually, your genset should also indicate what calorific value ( in BTU's/cu.foot) they are using as a basis for their assessment of gas usage (CFH), but the 260 number should give them a close enough guide for flow indication needs.
