I mean once the box is open its gona be terribly hard to shut if at all. While its true that great good could come from it so could great bad as far as for humans that is. Its probably great for anything that can use nanotechnology better then us... Examples might be intelligent micro organizims and such... How are we to say there arnt any intelligent life forms smaller then us living on this planet just waiting for us to build nanotechnology for them? I'm not saying this is a huge possiblity but wouldnt it be nice if we could just take a break from advancing technology and instead try to learn what all we can do with the technology we have now and expand our minds before we go into the next level of technology...

I heard modern cell phones transmission pulses to the towers are encrypted and are only temporary ID's on a forum called halfbakery. Is that true? If I had a device that wanted to know the cell phone's permanent ID's, would I need the cellular company's cooperation with the devices?
Thanks

What I mean is....I am sure it's ok but since it is so close to the extreme, I thought maybe it wouldn't be very accurate. Like if the range of the torque wrench was 10 Ft pounds to 160 Ft pounds... is it ok to torque something so close to the minimum extreme? Does it lose accuracy th closer you get to the limits?

If I need to torque something to 16 Ft pounds, can I use a torque wrench that measures "inch" pounds? If so, how do I convert that?

this question is as it is,not metric conversions,6.1/4 gallons of water at 65 fahrenheit=1 cubic foot,i say 65 fahrenheit as if the temperature was higher the water would expand,...liquid propane gas stays liquid only under pressure, normal propane gas bottles hold a pressure of about 80 psi,if this pressure altered to 50 psi, would this mean the gas would expand...what do you think.
