2. AC Circuit Simulation
Design a class ‘Complex’ for complex numbers with suitable data members and member functions.
It should overload the following operators for the corresponding operations in complex numbers: +
(add), - (subtract), * (multiply) and / (divide).
It should also have member functions for accessing the value of the complex number both in
Cartesian form and polar form.
[50 marks]
Hence, write a program with objects of the above Complex class to calculate the voltage across and
the current through each component in one of the following AC circuits (to be assigned by lecturer),
over a range of supply voltage frequencies. The supply voltage is a 1-volt AC signal.
1. R-L-C Series Circuit
2. R-L-C Parallel Circuit
3. R in Series with Parallel L-C Circuit
4. L in Series with Parallel R-C Circuit
5. C in Series with Parallel R-L Circuit
All values should be displayed in polar form with two decimal-points and right-adjusted.

We are having a little debate here in the office and we don't have a postage scale to settle it. My buddy says a can of soda weighs 12 ounces "see it says that at the bottom of the can!" he said. Well I say that is LIQUID ounces which are volume and NOT mass. For example if we emptied the soda out and filled the can with liquid paint it would still be 12 liquid ounces but it would weigh more than the can did when it was filled with soda.So the 12 ounces is NOT the weight.
Could someone PLEASE weigh a can of soda and let me know how much it weighs?

How can I make a demonstration for my son's science project? Tried reversing the leads to one speaker (no luck), converted the stereo to mono with an adapter jack (no luck). Am using a stereo CD player as the audio source. I know it can be done. I worked in television for a few years and one day notice that there was a point in the room where the audio from the tape machine I was using dropped out. The engineer said that the audio channels were out of phase. Would appreciate your help. Thanks.

A uniform pulley has a mass of 20kg and a radius of 150mm. A rope passes over it and is attached to a load of 10kg. What force must be applied to the other end of the rope to give the load an upward acceleration of 0.2m/s? Can anyone help me out with the formulas for this?

I need to get a comparator to trigger a switch that powers an electric motor. My circuit is set up correctly insofar that the comparator outputs current when I need it to, but I need that output (barely .5mA) to be able to trigger a switch that can handle up to roughly 40A. I'm considering using a relay, but I'm not sure how to find one that fits those requirements; I don't have a great understanding of the various terminologies and characteristics of relays. =^(

Any help here would be awesome. Thanks!
