I find reading before falling asleep, that I dream of what I have read, even if it's algebra, or astronomy!
Listening to books on tape will increase your learning span.
Writing notes about what you read, see, or do will increase your knowledge and retention base of learning.

Most of us learn by these 3 methods, 3 of the 5 sense.
1. sight- visual learners
2. sound- audible learners
3. touch - Kinetic Learners

I personally am a sight and touch learner-- with smell coming in as 3rd. If i take notes, it's ingrained into my brain, even if i never refer back to my notes.

My sister in law is an Audible learner and never has to write anything down!

My Father is someone who has to see it, to learn it.

So, if you are an audiable learner, listening to books on tape, while awake or asleep, your brain will absorb the info.

I did this with shakespear, astronomy, and slept with my math books under my pillow.

I am a strong believer in trying anything that may work.
The more intellectual converstations you carry on, the more you read, the more you write, the more your brain will expand.

YOU can even finger paint and increase the span of your learning, just by letting free thoughts float thru your head.

good luck hope this helps.
