3 X 1000 KW Hydro Power Plant is connected to 11 KV grid Substation through 11 KV transmission line of length 17 KM. When power export from this Hydro Plant to 11 KV substation grid is increased from 0 to 3000 KW the sending end (Generation end) voltage is also increased proportionally from 11 KV to 12.5 KV. While voltage at recieving end (Substation end) remain constant. P.F at recieving and sending ends remain constant and maintained as 0.95 (Lagging)

since gravitational force varies with latitude, and hence so does the weight, due to greater distances at the equator, than at the poles,
and hence so do the weights of objects at the surface of the earth at different latitudes due to varying distances from the earths center ,when weighing or calibrating scales or balances at different latitudes, is there a correction applied, so that there is no difference in the weights measured,on an international basis for weighing bulk commodities, assuming weights used for measuring and weighingare SI units of metre ,kilogramme and sec

To both cases; N. America, and Europe.

Who, where ,when, ,why, and how, was it determined that it would operate at 60 & 50 (respectively), cycles p/sec (Hertz-rate).

Surely, there was a process of factors that brought us to where we are today.

Any thoughts-

Where can I get really thin (maybe 30 or 28 awg) 2 conductor wire in all white? All of the thin wires are usually single, but I want a pair melded together so they dont flop around. it will cary 6V 200mA.
This will be fore a present I'm making, so the (non) visibility of the wire would be a plus. Thanks!

Here are 2 news articles about useing "spectroscopy technology" to detect traces of harmful drugs. I E-mailed the maker refered to in Arizona about buying one, they never responded.
This could be very usefull in doing home inspections prior to people renting or buying a home, as meth contamanation will make people very ill, and cause the home to be condimed, the residents kicked out untill properly cleaned.
I would also like to be able to walk by the lockers at the High school and submit a list to the school of all the locker numbers that have drug residue on the handles.
Any other Nanotechnology avilable to do anything similar to this? this could open up a whole now service type job, if inspecting for drug residue, not linked to law enforcement, but protection of business homes, schools and families.
