NORMAL is normal and STANDARD is standard

The 'normal' and 'standard' rates of a compressor could refer to the air output in cubic feet per minute. Standard cubic feet per minute would also be the rate of airflow (into the compressor) at atmospheric (standard) conditions. Normal rate could represent the airflow rate in cubic feet at the compressor discharge (at normal discharge temperature and pressure) available to run pneumatic equipment.
