So im trying to invent a device that keeps soup hot if u forget about it. I need some ideas on how to make something like that?

Try a bowl shape with heating coils embedded in it and a shock sensor (so it turns on when nothing is sensed for a specified period of time).

invent a bowl that has less heat loss.the heat transfers it self trough the the bowl to the table.if the bowl it's made from a fireprouf material,like thinfoil,it will save the heat inside the bowl.
