On the Atlantic Coast, the water offshore in parts of Florida (more specifically the Florida Plataeu) is deep. The water offshore in Savannah (Northern part of the coast) Georgia is shallow. Kingsland, St. Marys, and Kings Bay are in Southeast Georgia- closer to Savannah than the Florida Plateau in Southeast Florida.

This question is for an important briefing. If anyone could provide a reliable reference, that would be great.

Ever since I read "Journey to the center of the Earth" by Jules Verne about 13 years ago, I somehow believed the Earth isn't entirely solid and that life might exist in the interior. I also believe that everything in this universe are linked, such as the double helix DNA spiral to the galactical spirals. Is it possible that planets could be like a huge atom with a central core and free ranging nuclei matter? I know I'm a bit crazy, but how do we know for certain the Earth is NOT hollow? The deepest mine in the world doesn't even scratch the Earth's crust and I doubt that we can scan the Earth as deep as to the core. Isn't the assumed fact that the Earth is solid, not also just a theory until we can prove it?

For example, could all of these natural disasters be caused by a higher being that is warning us of our future, impending doom? Just a thought. It can be something else, but I thought I'd give that example.

I was watching the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle and remembered watching a program on The Discovery Channel some months back regarding a volcanic eruption in the late 1800s somewhere around Indonesia. The eruption was of such that it created electrical charges in the air. Ships on the sea lost their ability to navigate as their compasses quit working correctly. Is it possible that such phenomena could happen beneath the seas? And if so, could that be a possible explanation for some of the mysteries that lie beneath the Bermuda Triangle?

I came across this article while trolling for news on cnn.com.

http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/science/06/22/global.warming.ap/

It says that the Earth is the hottest it's been in 2000 years. While doubtless many people would claim this to be undeniable proof of Global Warming, I want to know why the earth was so hot 2000 years ago. It's not as if Jesus and his disciples were driving from town to town spreading the Word of God in their Chevy Suburbans. Isn't this really just proof of cyclical shifts in the Earth's climate?

It would be devistating, I know, but if it were to erupt at its' maximum potential, how many months/years could we expect the sun to be blocked out? Would our current state of global warming be accelerated? diminished?
