A solution is prepared where a bit of Fe2+ is added to a solution where the [OH-] is 1E-2M. Some Fe(OH)2 precipitates. Ksp for Fe(OH)2 is 8E-10.

How do I calculate the concentration of Fe? I have solved for the half reactions and I got

Ox: 2(Fe -> Fe2+ +2e-)
Red: O2 + 2H2O +4e- -> 4OH-

Ox Volt= .44
Red Volt= .40
Total Volt= .84

I don't know if that's helpful, but I have to solve for the Fe2+ concentration and use it to find the cell potential with the Nernst equation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

if a sample of 8.26 g of Barium hydroxide dissolved and diluted to the mark in a 250 mL flask.
it was found that 8.69 mL of this solution was needed to reach the stoichimetric point in a titration of 28.6 mL of HNO3. What is the molarity of the HNO3 solution?

i did it out and got 3.37 M?
is this correct?

I presume that the colours we see in our everyday life is due to molecular structure, Grey coloured Graphite structure can be altered to give a Clear Dimon.
Can it be that atoms are too small to have any colour?
But what in a metallic bonding gives gold one look and silver another?
Am i just looking at this in a wrong way and thats the reason that it doesnt make any sence?
