When you shake a can of pop, why does the CO2 bubbles come out?

The CO2 is supersaturated (dissolved mucho) in the soda (water).

Gases dissolve opposite of solids and liquids. Where you would mix/shake/stir a solid to dissolve faster in a liquid, doing the same to a gas would take it out of solution.
