F = 9/5C + 32 (Also C = 5/9(F - 32) )
= 9/5 * 37 + 32
= 333/5 + 32
= 66.6 + 32
= 98.6

To convert a temperature from Celcius to Fahrenheit, use the function F = 1.8*C + 32, which can also be written F = (9/5)C + 32. In this case, F = 1.8*37 + 32 = 98.6.

37C = 98.6F
Here's how to do it in your head:
You know that water freezes at 0C = 32F. Also every time you increase the C-temperature 5deg, the F-temperature goes up 9deg. To get from 0C to 37C, you have to go up seven x 5deg, plus 2deg more. So you go up seven x 9deg from 32 to get 95. The 2degC more is 3.6degF, so you get 98.6.
Another method depends on the fact that -40C = -40F, but you need the back of an envelope. Whatever the starting temperature, add 40. 37 + 40 = 77. Then you multiply by 5/9 if you want the number to "get bigger" and by 9/5 if you want it to "get smaller." F-temperatures have bigger, more positive numbers than C temperatures. So here you multiply by 5/9. 5/9 x 77 = 138.6. Finally, you subtract the 40 again. 138.6 - 40 = 98.6F

Isn't it the normal body tempertature for humans (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit)?
You can use the equation: F = 9/5 (C) + 32
