What kind of surface is your grinder? ANyhow, Aluminum is not a super hard metal. A grider would easily disintigrate the aluminum in to dust. Likely before it could spark.

Aluminum is close to being a metalloid, in fact some might say it is.

It is too soft.

Get an "A".
