I'm sure there are hundreds of other likely cantidates, even compressed air would work. I was looking at a spray deodorant can, and after spraying some ants around my house, at a can of Raid, and both contained petroleum distillates. The internet is full of information and stories, hence the information super highway nickname, so 5 good minutes would lead to a pluthera of stories about accidents such as this. Take for example, high school kids showing off by lighting mists of Axe deoderant on fire. How does this end? Not to well. The propellant is eventually ignited fast enough for the flame to catch up and eventually engulf the flammable material inside, causing a huge fireball. Accidents such as this can be stopped, why aren't they being stopped? If petroleum distillates have a different purpouse, but can be replaced, please tell me. Thanks!
