are they not referring to such things as the observed changes in populations of organisms over time? And are not such changes referred to as microevolution, which as far as I understand do not in any way contradict the creationist view that God created the earth 6,000 years ago and began the human race through Adam and Eve....but is there an aspect of what is referred to as the 'fact of evolution' (not the overall theory of evolution) that contradicts the general creationist viewpoint (or a Biblical description of Creation)? If so, what?

My science teacher from a few years back said those terms pretty much mean the samething. There has to be some difference between the terms.

I'm a white female and my fiance is asian.
I'm just interested in what determines what our children will look like? Is their more chance of them looking asian or white or both?
Thanks. :)

Then how come Lebron James is 6'8" while his mom is only 5'5"? I went on one of those ridiculous "height predictors" on the internet and typed in my parents' height and my height: my parents are 5'3" and 4'11" and i m 5'5" (14 yrs old) and the predictor said that there was an error lol. And read this:

Go to the part where it talks about genetics and you'll find out.also strongly influenced by the effects of certain hormones on the development of the cartilaginous portions of the 62 bones of the lower body, as well as the 24 separate and moveable bones constructing the spinal column."

I've seen so many people here on Yahoo Answers yapping "you can't increase your height, it's genetics". Well, banish the thought and keep working out. Of course, there is a limit and height is indeed influenced by genetics to an extent, but when there's a will, there's a way.

Lately there is a lot of hoopla about people with tails. Do you believe this can happen and there are REAL people who have this evolutionary defect?

I mean, compare say an Inuit to a tall Nordic Swede.Don't U thunk maybe a few things have changed in the course of human evolution, yes in the risk of being politcally incorrect, even mental attributes as well.

Are there any arguments other than “creationism” against it? What are they?
I’m trying to convince my cousin of evolution and I want to make sure I cover all my bases, but any search I do comes up with copious Creationist websites and articles and little else. So I was wondering… what arguments are there other than the religious ones?

How come there are still chimps and monkeys? Wouldnt they have evolved with the rest of us humans if we are some superior race? And why aren't we still evolving?

And another thing I don't get...How did everything on earth evolve into the complex organisms from a single cell. I mean seriously...for example how do things as complex as the human body work so perfect...Im sorry but things like that didnt just happen. They were CREATED!!!! and I think Evolution in a bunch of crock...

SO LETS HEAR SOME NEGATIVE FEEDBACK!!!!!!!!
