Ie: if you are 20 years old, are your desires 20 years old also?

Desires are associated to learning. You cant desire a chocolate/cigarette etc if you have never tried it or heard of it. We usually only desire what we know and what we know we shouldnt have. It can only be associated with age in the fact that we learn more and try new things as we get older.

I am a bit older than 20 but I still find 20 year olds desirable.

Yes .. but not as you suggest .. many desires arise well after birth .. for example most children feel no desires towards the opposite sex for the first 10 years or so ..
As we age we form many new desires and let go many old ones ..
