What are some ways scientists, biologists and students of biology can do to educate the public to appreciate the facts of evolution, as opposed to non-scientific ideas such as 'intelligent design' and other creation mythologies?

Although the limbic volume of the American species is rather large in proportion to the cerebellum allowing for primitive primordial dynamics, it may be possible to elevate the American species by genetically impressing cognitive regions from the lower apes. Although this may not result in a "modern" evolution the American species will still gain a ten fold increase in intellectual capacity: drooling while chanting "America is the greatest nation on earth" will be greatly decreased allowing for the rest of the world to at least take a break.
